FRIDAY!

No trip to Palm Springs is complete without a little bit of “Poolside Gossip”. To kick off the weekend we invite you to don your best retro resort wear and Pucci-style patterns as we travel back in time to relive Palm Springs’ legacy as a mecca of the mid-century modern style.

The dress code for this event is Resort Casual so think Mad Men on holiday, Palm Royale, or any Slim Aarons photography with a pool. This is a chance to lean into mid-century resort styling, vibrant colors, bold florals, crisp linens, and effortless 1960s and 70s glamour. Don’t be afraid to go bold with your patterns or top off your look with an ascot or a silk hair scarf.

SATURDAY!

Saturday will be the main event of the weekend and we kindly as you all to join us in Resort Formal attire with a bit of a twist.

They say the golden rule of weddings is to ‘never upstage the bride.’ But, seeing as this wedding won’t have one, we would like to use this opportunity to invite all our guests to wear that incredible outfit you’ve always wanted to wear but never had the excuse to!

Have a bold suit, a dramatic gown, or a stunning vintage piece gathering dust? Wear it! Prefer a classic, elegant tea-length dress or a timeless tailored suit? We love that, too! Note: for those in suits a necktie is required.

If you’re looking for some more inspiration please explore the mood boards below. These boards are purely aspirational as beyond the foundations of Resort Formal, all we ask is that you feel as excited about your ensemble as we will be to see you there.
